Charting Library

Businesses in the technology sector face immense pressure to swiftly adapt to digital transformations and offer rapid solutions. Cisco, the world's largest networking company, sought to enhance their user service by effectively communicating through data. To address this need, CLEVER°FRANKE was tasked with developing a unified data visualization and charting library. This initiative aimed to streamline data visualization structures across Cisco's expansive product range, ensuring coherence and impact in their data communication strategies.

The value delivered by CLEVER°FRANKE's solution was twofold. First, it enabled Cisco to communicate their data consistently and efficiently. Secondly, it empowered both internal and external stakeholders to make more informed decisions by providing clearer, more accessible data representations. This cohesive data visualization and charting library facilitated better understanding and communication of complex information, enhancing decision-making processes for Cisco's stakeholders.

As project manager, I oversaw requirements gathering and prioritization, aligning stakeholder needs while laying the groundwork for Cisco's design system. My role extended to fostering collaboration among stakeholders and guiding the system's development to ensure cohesive data visualization structures and documentation.

I distilled our approach and insights into an article, explaining how data design systems can get you to better data-driven products at scale faster. You can read the article here.
