Cube-Light
During my exchange semester at the University of Sydney, I conceptualized and constructed a unique lamp. This wireless lamp was intended for both reading and decorative purposes. The lamp comprises a wooden cube housing two light sources. One side features a translucent white surface, providing functional illumination, while the second light, positioned at the cube's center, radiates through three sanded corners, serving a more ornamental role. Notably, both lights are independently controllable.
The sanded corners serve dual roles: not only as supportive surfaces allowing the lamp to be positioned at various angles but also enhancing the design's playful aesthetic. Notably, the wood utilized in crafting this cube-light is derived from residual materials, ensuring sustainability and cost-effectiveness in its production.
