Optimus Prime

The program aimed to establish a centralized system for purchasing and distributing goods for a major cablecom provider. Before the implementation of Optimus Prime, goods were dispatched to various warehouses across Europe. The establishment of a central warehouse in Venlo, Netherlands (European Distribution Centre), facilitated centralized procurement, leveraging negotiating power with suppliers, streamlining supply chain operations, and introducing a cross-border leasing model for tax advantages. Additionally, the solution retained the capability for drop shipment deliveries.


Collaborating with two offshore teams in India, we orchestrated the design and implementation of necessary modifications and integrations for the ERP Finance modules within eBusiness Suite 11.i / R12. In my role as a functional consultant, I oversaw the creation of Functional Designs, Interface Specifications, and End-to-End Use-Cases. This involved close coordination with other involved workstreams and business stakeholders. Furthermore, I managed the development and testing phases in collaboration with the offshore teams.
