New Way of Working
We spearheaded a transformative initiative for a major energy company in the Netherlands, revolutionizing their operational framework across five key domains:
1) Implemented a refined governance model for top-tier management, streamlining decision-making for faster, more efficient, and higher-quality outcomes.
2) Introduced a top-team structure featuring new consultative bodies and an annual agenda, offering clarity and focus for current and future leaders within the organization.
3) Developed and implemented a strategic cyclical process, ensuring a holistic and efficient cascading of the company's strategy throughout the organization. This involved establishing clear strategic KPIs and ensuring effective adjustments to the strategy throughout the year.
4) Designed a forward-looking organizational structure, enabling the company to venture into unexplored territories within the energy transition, shifting toward a service-driven approach from its current energy supply-centric focus.
5) Co-creatively cultivated a new culture via six change areas, fostering awareness of the necessary mindset and behaviors among employees.
My contributions encompassed designing the future-proof organizational and governance structures, facilitating workshops with the top 100 stakeholders, overseeing the overall program progress, and crafting presentation materials. This involved developing conceptualizations and visual aids to encapsulate the essence of the newly established way of working.
