Intelligent HR Platform
The HR department of a prominent energy company in the Netherlands faced challenges of cost inefficiency, fragmentation, and suboptimal quality. The objective of the Intelligent HR Platform was to significantly enhance employee satisfaction with HR services while concurrently reducing overall costs. This program focused on three core elements: (1) the Core HR solution, (2) the Talent Management Suite, and (3) the HR Ticketing & Information, where my involvement spanned across all three streams, guiding the program's direction and progress.
In shaping the Core HR solution, we conducted a comprehensive analysis of the current setup and outlined three potential future scenarios. This encompassed various components like salary and personnel administration, payroll systems, personnel profiles, and apps catering to functionalities around absence, time tracking, and declarations.
Selecting the Talent Management Suite necessitated a European tender process. I orchestrated the design and establishment of the employee journey, facilitating workshops with experts and business stakeholders to craft a coherent set of requirements for different touchpoints and user groups. Additionally, I structured the scoring matrix for supplier evaluation across phases and contributed to the overall tender planning.
Leading the agile squad for HR Ticketing & Information, our goal was to devise and implement a unified solution for all HR queries within Office 365. The team, comprising four developers and four HR employees, collaborated under my guidance. I introduced the concept of dynamically generating articles based on specific questions, constructing a new content tree to accommodate diverse information types such as FAQs, articles, excel files, news items, policies, and work instructions. This enabled swift access to basic information via a search bar, with the option to delve deeper into associated documentation or raise a ticket for more detailed inquiries. The solution was well-received, elevating its rating from 2.0 to 4.2 on a 1-5 scale, and was efficiently implemented within tight timelines.
