Television Cabinet

The TV cabinet blends modernistic and 60's retro styles. It combines sleek, clean lines and a white coverage, with a warm wooden inlay and slightly slanted legs. The front contains a push mechanism for opening and closing the cabinet.

I utilized SketchUp to design and model the cabinet, enabling me to generate multiple design variations for comparison. Additionally, it allowed me to easily obtain precise measurements for the different components.

To create the cabinet, I used dowel joints. This involved drilling precise holes in the wooden parts, inserting wooden dowels, and securing them with adhesive. The dowel joints ensure both the structural integrity and a neat appearance of the cabinet, aligning with its modernistic design.
