TU/e Design House

I devised and crafted a design-house as part of the "Design and Present with ICT" bachelor course, utilizing 3DS Max software. The project entailed creating a structure for the annual "Dutch Designweek," encompassing a presentation space for up to seventy designers, an exhibition area, accommodations for the building manager, a small bar, and sanitary facilities.

The design revolves around four curved masses, each serving a distinct purpose within the structure. These masses are constructed in concrete, with glass facades filling the side faces, ensuring transparency and light. Wooden platforms introduced as split-levels offer unique atmospheres within each section. An intriguing feature is the building's transformation at night, as it appears to turn inside out.

For a comprehensive view of the project's evolution, including various modeling stages, a simple photomontage, and the design of the accompanying website, the link provided under the "Documents" section above leads to the project's dedicated website.
