Cockatoo Island

Cockatoo Island, a prominent island in Sydney's harbor, stands as a significant tourist destination adorned with a wealth of historical artifacts. As part of the 3D Modeling course at the University of Sydney, a task presented was to meticulously replicate a photograph of an indoor space utilizing the 3D modeling software Rhino. The challenge lay in recreating the photograph's ambiance faithfully, excluding the use of any textures.

My chosen photograph was captured within one of the houses on Cockatoo Island, showcasing an enigmatic aura. Employing creative manipulation of lighting, strategically adding crucial details in the 3D model, and employing Photoshop techniques, I endeavored to authentically recreate the atmospheric essence within a constrained timeframe.
