Tim's World

"Tim's World" emerged as a project within the Graphic Design course at the University of Sydney, aiming to craft an infographic representation of my curriculum vitae. I opted to create a graphical rendition centered around manipulating the world map, where each piece of information was linked to its respective geographical location. The size of continents, countries, or cities on the map corresponded to the volume of information associated with each area.

Categorized information was color-coded and displayed in an elliptical formation around the map. The data was layered based on categories and arranged in chronological order within each category. Originally conceived as category sheets for my portfolio, this graphic design later served as the foundational concept for a website, accessible via the provided link.

The website, constructed in Flash, allowed users to filter out categories by clicking on them. Unlike the circular display around the ellipse in the original version, the website presented textual information, supplemented by additional details and photographs, positioned beneath the dots.
